Libby C. Griego, 86, longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM died Wednesday, July 7, 2010. She is survived by her children, Leona Griego Gutierrez and spouse, Annette Elwell and spouse, Christina Trujillo and spouse, Joe Griego and spouse all residing in Albuquerque, Barbara Carrasco and spouse from El Paso, TX, Dolores Chavez and spouse from Edmond, OK, Juanita Valdez and spouse from Los Lunas, NM, William Griego and spouse, Christina Trujillo and spouse reside in Rio Rancho, NM, and Rita Paselk and spouse from New Braunfel, TX. There are 25 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Sally Barreras; and brothers, Ben Chavez and spouse from Tajique, NM and Fred Chavez and spouse from Albuquerque. Mrs. Libby Griego was preceded in death by her spouse, Manuel D. Griego, October 1986; and two sons, Frank and Arthur Griego. Rosary will be held Thursday, July 8, 2010, 7:00 p.m., at French - Westside Chapel, with Gabriella Nieto reciting. Friends may visit French - Westside Chapel beginning at 6:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 9, 2010, 10:00 a.m., at St. Theresa of Avilla Catholic Church in Grants, NM. Interment will follow at Grants Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Mirabal, Carlos Griego, Nino Griego, Alan Griego, Ernest Hathaway, Eric Valdez, Thomas and Isaac Trujillo.
