Hedy Neumann Dalia, 68, a native of Germany immigrated to the United States in 1965 and was a resident of Sandia Heights in Albuquerque New Mexico since 1984. Hedy died unexpectedly on June 17, 2010. She is survived by her grandchildren, Caitlin Potter, Danielle Potter and Scott Potter and their father Wayne Potter; She is also survived by her youngest daughter Andrea Neumann Mascis. Hedy was a respected educator in the ESOL program at CNM for more than 15 years. She was an active and vital member of multiple communities including the Happy Hoofer Meadow Muffins, the Shape Note Singers, the Military Officers Association of America - Ski Club and Tours and the First Unitarian Church. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle Blvd, at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 3, 2010. Guests will be invited to decorate a page for a memory book.
