David W. Monette passed away Sunday June 13,2010. David was born March 17, 1954 in Muskogee, OK. He is survived by his daughter Jennie Monet of Buffalo, NY; and son Josh Monette of Belcourt, ND; sisters, Donna Monette, Patricia Riordan and husband Mike, Martha Monette, Anne Monette, Carol Monette all of Albuquerque; brothers, Neil and wife Louanne, Kenneth and wife Irmela of Albuq. and John of Phoenix, AZ.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Emma Monette. After graduating from Manzano High School, David went on to serve in the US Navy. He later worked for Alpha Omega Dental Labs. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Medical ICU at UNM Hospital for the wonderful care provided for David. There will be a rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Maeto Blvd., NE 764-9663 and Mass on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at San Felipe Catholic Church in Old Town. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
