Ferne Lorraine Graves, 96, passed away June 5, 2010, with her family by her side. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Louanne Saylors, son-in-law Robert Wilson; grandchildren Kevin Saylors, Jennifer Wakefield and Holly Eiden and husband Kenneth; and great-grandchildren Hanna and Kenneth Eiden. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Graves in 1972 and her daughter Barbara Wilson in March of this year. Ferne was the first female technical supervisor at Sandia Laboratories and was beloved by her colleagues for her ability to support them in their work. She loved to travel and had circumnavigated the globe several times. Ferne cherished the uniqueness of Albuquerque and was a dedicated volunteer with the Albuquerque Council for International Visitors, serving as its president several times. A memorial service for Ferne will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Albuquerque Council for International Visitors, P.O.
