B. Preston Manchester, age 76, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. He is survived by his children, David, and wife, Cindy, Bruce, Wayne, Lora, and husband, Michael; and four grandchildren, Nichole, Ryan, Madison and Cameron. He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Ester; his brother, Mason; and sister, Lois. Preston was born in East Providence, RI and after joining the Air Force he became a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. He served as a pilot in the Air Force and was a Korean veteran. He had a passion for flying planes, racing boats, driving fast cars and riding motorcycles. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2010, 2:00 p.m., at 609 Encino Terrace NE, where he called home with many friends and close friend, Ramona Garcia.
