Amelia Martinez. She was born October 1, 1920 and served our Lord until April 6, 2010. It was my privilege and honor to take care of my aunt in the latter years of her life. She is survived by four children; Eduardo Martinez, Cornelio Martinez, Maggie Malbaraugh, and Lorenza Florez. I will personally miss her for the rest of my life. I learned many things from her. She was a wonderful person, teacher and mentor. I would like to thank the ladies at Share Your Care for the wonderful care she received at their facility; Tina Garcia, Angie Quintana, her gossip partner, Sylvia Mares, Jo Ann Martinez who knit many beautiful things for her, Jeanie Berumen; also her special nurses Marla Muniz and Angelica Bryant and to my family Rachel and Mark Sutton for saying the Rosary for her, Jim and Dorothy Urquidez, Debra and Paul Neari and family. My special thanks to Blas Urquidez Jr. and Bobby Urquidez for their help, also to all my cousins who made wonderful food and made me feel that I was not alone. Special thanks to my aunts Julia Alvarado and Victor Urquidez for all their special prayers. My very special thanks to Frank Rivers who helped me and loved her as much as I did. H. U.
