Clorinda Jaramillo Tafoya, born to Sylvestre and Natividad Jaramillo, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2010. Loved by her family and friends, she remained independent and active until the final months of her life. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Panfilo Tafoya. She is survived by her three daughters, Mary Louise Sena, Teresa Pieretti, and Viola Tafoya; her grandson, Rico DiMarzio; as well as her only living sibling, Adelina Salcido; and many nephews and nieces. She spent much of her life in Jarales, NM; Truth or Consequences, NM; and Albuquerque, focusing on her family, her church, and her friends. She will be missed. Services will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church on Friday, May 28, 2010 beginning with the Holy Rosary at 8:00 a.m., followed by Holy Mass at 9:00.
