Martin J. Stevenson PhD, passed from this life May 1, 2010. "Marty" as he preferred to be called, was a true friend to everyone, and always had a kind word for all. Marty was the father of two sons, David Stevenson, wife Guenn, with three children, of Florida; and Randy Stevenson, wife Ann, with two children, of California. Marty will forever be remembered by his in-laws, Jay and Brenda Denney, daughter Melissa, and James and Lyn Crawford, son James, all of Indiana. He will be missed by countless other friends who were fortunate enough to know him. He was an avid sailor, and cherished his 34 foot Hunter Sailboat, "Windependent". He and his sailing friends spent many happy days sailing and racing at Elephant Butte Lake. Marty loved to travel with Paulette, read, have fun with friends and relatives and most of all spend time enjoying life.
