Pauline Ruth Fresquez Hernandez born March 2, 1928 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 10th, 2010. Pauline is survived by her companion, Joe Trujillo; her daughters, Charlene Hernandez, Maggie Ochoa and husband, Efren, Theresa Samaniego and husband, Manuel, and Martha Hernandez; her sons, Art Hernandez and wife, Rita, James Hernandez and wife, Theresa; her grandson whom she raised, Ernie Garcia; special granddaughters, Ruby Garcia and Tina Romero; her five sisters who reside in California; nephew, Richard Fresquez; and sister-in-law, Helen Aragon. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Hernandez; her sons, Paul and Melvin Hernandez; her mother, Ester Dominguez; mother-in- law, Miquela Hernandez; and grandson, Steven Garcia. Pauline's legacy continues for five generations through grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She loved to sew, plant flowers, and her kitty Buggie. Visitation will be Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Helen Aragon and Ida Mae Grant. Final visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hernandez, Isidro Hernandez, Manuel Leyba, Ernest Garcia, Victor Hoak, and Aaron Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Garcia, Rod Garcia, Rick Vigil, Joey Fresquez, Tony Chavez, Phil Hernandez, and Joseph Quinones.
