Jacqueline Van Aernam Sheppard, 84, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, died May 2, 2010. She is survived by her daughter Jan of Denver, Colorado, and her son Reed and wife Diann of Tijeras; grandsons, Brian Pagan and Jason and wife Amanda Pagan; and great grandchildren Gabrielle and Alexander Pagan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olin, in 1985. Mrs. Sheppard was a long-time volunteer at Bear Canyon Senior Center. Born in Weed, California, she graduated from Texas State College for Women with a BA in International Trade. After residing in many locations during her early life, she found her permanent home in Albuquerque in 1973. A memorial service was held at French Mortuary.
