Cora Marie Frein, 1930 - 2010. Born October 30, in Gunnison, CO. Cora age 79 lost her valiant battle with cancer on January 30, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospice in patient unit, two weeks after her faithful companion and canine partner, Tau Vou passed away, mourning her absence. Preceded in death by husband, her other half, Charles (Chubby) Frin; and brother Othmar Metroz. Survived by daughter Tanna Frein Loddy; grandson Lonnie Loddy; granddaughter Stacey Loddy; brother Charlie Metroz. Cora will not only be greatly missed by loving family but her friends, particularly fellow members of the Meadow Lark Senior Center Fishing Club. Cora was an active member helping with what needed to be done, trying some of her own flies and using others. Cora did enjoy her fishing. Cora was an accomplished bowler, exceptional seamstress, producing clothing for herself and others. Cora was a proud and independent woman who loved to garden and kept her yard trimmed and mowed to perfection. Special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Presbyterian Hospice. No services.
