Lai Yue Chu, age 61 passed away in Albuquerque, NM on April 16, 2010. She was born to Ying and Shui Wong in Guangzhou, China. Lai was the owner and operator of Ho Lo Ma Chinese Restaurant since 1972. She was a life member of the Chinese-American Citizens Alliance. Lai is survived by her sister, Linda Louie and husband, Li Lee Louie; two brothers, Tai Wong and wife, Fu Wong and Wayne Wong; four sisters, Kathy Mar and husband, John, Nancy Chu, Karen Kamtz and husband, Gary and Mary Wong. Lai was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Chu. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary~Wyoming Chapel.
