Dorris L. Young, 85, a resident of Albuquerque 31 years, died Sunday, April 11, 2010. She is survived by her son, Harold Young, Jr. and wife, Angela of Red River, NM; grandson, Trey Young of Albuquerque, NM; granddaughter, Crystal Luster and husband, Christopher of Red River, NM; sister, Joan Andreas of CA; and numerous other relatives and friends. Dorris was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Gene" Young, Sr. in November 2006. She was born on October 19, 1924 in Wichita Falls, TX and graduated from Wichita Falls High School. Dorris was a very loving and caring individual who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Graveside services will be held at Red River Cemetery in Red River, NM on Thursday, April 22, 2010, 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Humane Society, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
