Martin Dean Fisher, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010. He is survived by his son, Martin Dale Fisher of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Audrey Rivers and husband, Glenn of Stuart, FL, and Justin Fisher and wife, Breanna of Los Lunas; great-grandchildren, Avery Rivers and Tyler and Alexandria Fisher; sisters, Dora Fisher of Albuquerque and Juanell Thompson of Paragould, AR; brothers, Bill Fisher of Rio Rancho, Jerold Fisher and wife, Joyce of Albuquerque and Tom Fisher and wife, Donita of Alamogordo; sister-in-law, Betty Fisher of Midland, TX; and large extended family. Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his wife, Sigal Fisher. Martin served in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. He was a welding shop foreman for W.W. Steel and Mega Corp, retiring in 1991. A service will be held, Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 10:30 a.m., at French - University Chapel. Another service will be held, Wednesday, April 21, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at the Fort Sumner Church of Christ.
