Lilly Lopez, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. She was surrounded by those who loved her. Lilly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lilly was born on April 1, 1929 in Jarales, NM. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Refugio and Flora Urtiaga; grandson Derek Lopez; and great-granddaughter Celeste Holjencin. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Victor; children, Rose Baca, Irene Abeyta and husband, Alfred, Vickie Sanchez and husband, Chris, Marty Lopez and wife, Marie, Bobby Lopez and wife, Patty, and David Lopez and wife, Yvette; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister; four brothers; and numerous other relatives and friends. Lilly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends and family may visit French - Westside Chapel, Friday, April 16, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Harvest Fellowship, 5331 Montano Rd. NW, Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren; Ashley Abeyta, Carlos Baca, Nicole Elzy, Erica Lopez-Hamby, Jason Lopez, Michelle Lopez, Christopher Sanchez, and Steven Sanchez.
