Jeanette Vargas was born October 18, 1959 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the age of 50. Jeanette was preceded in death by her adoptive mother and father, Jenny and Sam Apodaca. She is survived by her loving husband Peter J. Vargas; beloved daughters, Venessa Martinez and August Vargas; son, Jesus Vargas. She had only one grandchild, whom she loved and adored, Sariah Byrd. Jeanette is also survived by her father, Tony Whiting and loving mother-in-law, Pauline Ruiz and husband Jose Ruiz; three sisters, Loretta Whiting, Eleanor Apodaca and Mona Whiting; brother, Hector Whiting; as well as several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved her. She will be greatly missed and will be in our hearts forever. Memorial Services will be held at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 10:00am.
