Nova Smouse 86 resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully Easter Sunday at her home with family by her side. Nova was born in Brownwood, TX on September 9, 1923. She moved to Albuquerque 56 years ago. She is survived by her husband Wayne (Dewey) Smouse, son David Smouse and wife Linda of Albuq. Three daughters, Irma Patton of Bernalillo, Gail Norris of Washington state, Anita Clark of Friona,TX. Nova had 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Nova was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Nova was a member of the Bernalillo Co. Extension Club. She raised, groomed and showed poodles in the 1960's. A memorial service will be at a later date
