Ina Ruth Derieg, 76, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010. She is survived by her children, Aileen Derieg and husband, Peter Huttsmanburgur of Linz, Austria, Daniel Derieg and wife, Kris of Albuquerque, James Derieg and wife, Sara Lawlor of Kemble, U.K., and Patrick Derieg of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Jack, Joseph, Christopher, Charlotte, Russell, Patrick, and Katrina. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Derieg; and daughter, Amy Boehms. Ina was born in Spur, TX and lived in several places in the southwest, including Tucson, AZ, Glendale, CA and Boerne, TX. Her hobbies were sewing clothes for her children and grandchildren as well as quilting. Ina was a fantastic cook and enjoyed baking for her family and friends. She was the PTA president in Glendale, CA. She worked for Albuquerque Public Schools as an Administrative Secretary for 16 years. Ina was a wonderful, kind-hearted person and she will be missed. Services will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at French - Westside Chapel. Friends may visit one hour prior to services. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Ft.
