Thomas Sandoval, 77, passed away at home on Saturday, April 3, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was a lifetime resident of Albuquerque and worked at the Simms building and Lovelace Hospital. Thomas is preceded in death by parents, George and Stella Sandoval; father-in-law, Refugio A. Vargas, Sr. and grandson, Evan Sandoval. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Sandoval; children, Robert Sandoval and wife, Eva, Patrick Sandoval and Eileen Fazio, Naomi Sandoval, Mike Andrade, Maxarie Torres and Jose Alarcon; seven grandchildren; brother, Leroy Sandoval; sisters, Anabel Sandoval, Faye Sandoval and numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Memorial Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
