Stewart William Pitt, 87, a resident of various places in New Mexico since 1968, died March 20, 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Norma E. Pitt. He is survived by his children, Susan Bollinger of San Antonio, Texas, Arlene Hopper of Vega, Texas, and Kathleen Pitt of Tijeras, New Mexico ; grandchildren, Jimbo Williams of Quemado, New Mexico and Debbie Testa of Syracuse, Utah; great-grandchild, Dylan Testa of Syracuse, Utah. Stewart served in the US Navy on the USS Barry during World War II. After WWII, he began his career with AT&T and retired from AT&T in 1979. He will be dearly missed. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at French~Lomas Chapel. A reception to follow services. Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
