Edward C. Stokes, "Pop", age 87, born June 17, 1922, in Cleveland, OH, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. Edward honorably served his country in the US Marines during WWII. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Marie Stokes. Edward is also survived by his two sons, Tim and Roger and wife, Eileen and Gwen; two grandchildren, Tim and Steven; four great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha, Yvonne, Kelsey; five others of Kansas; as well as other family and friends who loved him and will miss him. The family would like to thank the VA Medical Center for all their loving care and concern for Ed. He will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place.
