Nathaniel D. Brewer, age 92, beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Albuquerque, Wednesday, March 24, 2010, while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 24, 1917 in Mountain View, AR. He served in the United States Army during World War II, and was a gifted artist. He was preceded in death by his wife Gwendolyn Brewer, one year ago to date on March 24, 2009; his granddaughter, Shelley Tiley on February 27, 2010. Mr. Brewer is survived by his loving children, Linda, Jackie, Toni, Pat and Laurie; grandchildren, Michael, Dusty, Rick, Heather, Melanie, Aron, Gabe, Pat, Sara and Micah; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lois Ann Brewer; nephew, Kent Brewer and wife Toni; great-nephews, Cole and wife Rachael, their daughter, Ava Fay, Luke and Benjamin; and a great-niece, Julie. Nathaniel will be greatly missed by all. Visitations will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary, with Pastor Robert Claiborne, officiating. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park. Casket Bearers will be Pat Linebarger, Michael Tiley, Micah Pierson, Rick Chavez, Gabe Garcia and James Gonzales.
