Obituary for BUXTON

Richard Clarke Buxton, age 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 2007, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia of Albuquerque; daughter, Lynette Munoz and husband, Fernando of Albuquerque; sons, Dale Buxton and wife, Christine of Gilbert, AZ, and Thomas Buxton and wife, Joan of Downers Grove, IL; and six grandchildren. Mr. Buxton was born in Chicago, IL February 20, 1935. He was preceded in death by his two sisters. Mr. Buxton worked as an electrician all of his life and belonged to the IBEW L.U. 595 and the 110 Brotherhood Club of Electrical Workers. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish and the senior center cribbage club in Rio Rancho. Memorial Rosary will be recited by Eileen Walling Monday, March 22, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho. Memorial Mass will be celebrated immediately following the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Douglas A. Raun as celebrant.
