Betty (Anna) Newman, who went to be with her Lord on March 12, 2010. She was 88 at the time of her passing. She was a long time resident of New Mexico sharing time in both Edgewood and Albuquerque. She dedicated her life to serving faithfully in her church, and most recently was attending Alameda Bible Church in Albuquerque. She was active in the Edgewood Lions Club and senior center before moving back to Albuquerque. She is survived by her husband Vince, 92; son Bobby Newman and wife, Dottie; daughter Nancy Siegel and husband, Rick; two granddaughters, Kara Siegel and Davine Sanchez and husband, Manuel. She also had four great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Risse', Ethan, and Alyssa, of whom all will miss spending special times and nights with her. A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Betty on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at Alameda Bible Church, 220 El Pueblo Road NW.
