Donna Mae Randall passed away after a lengthy illness on March 9, 2010. Donna was born on April 1, 1932 on the family farm in Steen, Minnesota, to Fred Paulsen and Laura (Aukes) Paulsen. Donna married Wayne Randall of Clarissa, Minnesota, on June 14, 1951 in San Diego, California. Donna attended nursing school in Sioux Falls, South Dakota before marrying Wayne, a marriage that has lasted 58 wonderful years. A pioneer of "international" travel, Donna and Wayne packed up three kids, moved to Australia and roughed the new frontier for three years. She was an "outback" mom. She is survived by her husband, Wayne; son, Jerry (Kathy) Randall of Kongsberg, Norway; daughter Cynthia (John) Hinson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; son Matthew Randall of Robbinsdale, Minnesota; grandson, 1st Lt. Joseph Randall of Weiden, Germany; granddaughter, Midshipman Samantha Randall of USNA, Annapolis, Maryland; granddaughter, Cadet Alison Randall of USMA, West Point, New York; brother Melvin (JoAnn) Paulsen of Steen, Minnesota; sister, Shirley (Gil) Longnecker of Mt. Dora, Florida. A funeral service will be held for Donna on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at French ~ Lomas Chapel. Friends may call on the family from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
