SANDRA ANN (HOOD) ROBINSON, 67 of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning, March 1, 2010. SanDee, an Albuquerque Native, was preceded in death by her daughter Holly Kirsten Robinson; and her parents Gerald Curtis and Verna Mae Hood of Albuquerque. SanDee is survived by her husband James Barnum Robinson Jr.; her son Lt. Col. Dwight Eric Robinson of Patuxent River, MD; her daughter Amber Alexis Lamote of Birmingham, AL; her uncle John Love of Albuquerque; her aunt Lois Maddox of Auburn, CA. SanDee was Lovingly known as "Kikki" to her beautiful granchildren who were her life, Karr Barnum Robinson of Las Cruces and Joy Alexandra Lamote of Birmingham; and her extended family and in-laws, Jeff Lamote of Birmingham, Kim, Jeff and Zane Brilliant of Las Cruces, John and Becky Robinson of Atlanta, and Brian and Abbey Robinson of San Antonio. SanDee, "Kikki" was an advocate for animal rescue and dogs that have served in the United States Military. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Animal Humane Association of New Mexico, Inc. 615 Virginia St. S.E., Albuquerque, New Mexico 87108; 505.938.7888, in memory of Sandra "Kikki" Robinson. The family has made the decision to honor SanDee's wishes of no services. A private service for immediate family members only will be held in Maryland.
