Ina Belle Wood of Elephant Butte, NM was born to Tommie and Alvin Ludecke in Mountainair, NM, August 19, 1929. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 24, 2010 in Albuquerque. She married her childhood sweetheart and lifelong soul mate, Oscar Lee Wood on September 28, 1946. He survives her. She is also survived by her daughters Alvina Doty/Russ of Kerrville, TX, Tommie Carter/Gene of Albuquerque, NM; and son Quinton Wood/Connie of Taos, NM; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law/brother-in-law Ann and Tom Greiner of Condon, OR; numerous other family and friends and "CC" her "Constant Companion". She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Gilbert Ludecke. Services will be on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM at 1:00 P.M. with Doris Jaques and Shirley Sweat officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Quinton Wood, Jr., Logan Wood, Roger Cherino, Edwin Smith, Kevin Martin and James Martin.
