Mary G. "Porgie" Wingfield, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1979, went to be with the Lord and her husband, Tom Wingfield, Sunday, February 28, 2010. She is survived by her only child, Debbie Herrera and husband, Rojo of Hawaii; grandchildren, Pattie of Colorado, David Wingfield of Hawaii, Will, Chrissie, Michael, Kaliko, Sadie, and Tonie, all of Hawaii; step-grandchildren, Allison and Derek of Delaware; foster grandchild, Leina'ala; and her dog, Foxy. Mrs. Wingfield was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Wingfield. Porgie graduated from Gallup High School and attended Colorado State University. Her husband Tom served and retired from the US Army. She accompanied her husband to many different posts prior to retiring to Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010, 10:30 a.m., at French - University Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Her pallbearer will be Will Otte.
