Alice Oberst, 79, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at her home in Albuquerque. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Mel; three sons, Mike, Andy, and Robb; three daughters, Angie, Linda, and Jane; their spouses; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Jack; and granddaughter, Lexi. Alice served as a Chaplin, Eucharistic Minister, and visited the elderly. Filled with the heart of a loving servant, Alice took great joy in her family and in giving care and concern to everyone. Alice was a model for selfless love. She will be missed by all.
