Emilia Griego - Leyba was born November 23, 1923 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the age of 86. Emilia will be remembered for being the best homemaker. She loved her family greatly and she lived for them. Emilia loved the Lord with all of her heart and did her best to live for Him. She now rests with our Lord, and all is well. Emilia was preceded in death by her daughter, Juanita Leyba-Mase; her mother, Juanita Valdez- Griego; her father, Roman Griego; five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Vivian Leyba of the family home in Albuquerque; two sons, Archie T. and Vivian Lee Leyba, both of Oklahoma City, OK.; daughter, Sarah Leyba of California; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her.
