Karen D. Vigil, 46, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 16, 2010. Karen is survived by her daughter, Jenesis Torres; her son, Jared Moncallo; her mother, Florence Urquidez and husband, Art; her sister, Judith (Jude) Quintana and husband, Jonathan and their children, Jena, Joshua, and Jacob; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Nico) Torrez Jr., and Ashley Moncallo; her close aunt, Annie Chavez; her parents in law, Paul and Mary Espinosa; many aunts, uncles, brothers in law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Moncallo; her father, Freddie Vigil; brother, Herman Fernando Vigil; and her grandmother, Adelaida Vallejos. Visitation will be Tuesday, February, 23, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Mr. Tony Urquidez. Final visitation will be Wednesday morning in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW, Father Bill Sanchez, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Quintana, Joshua Quintana, Jacob Quintana, Diego Lucero, Marcos, Chavez, and Mike Lucero.
