Jesus Maria Silva, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away Friday, February 19, 2010. Mr. Silva is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Anita Silva; his children, Cathy Silva, David Silva and wife, Vicky, Yvonne Silva, Roy Silva and wife, Kathy; his sister, Charlotte Smith; his grandchildren, Mario, April, Randy, Michael, Sarah, Candice, and Stephanie; his great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends. Mr. Silva was preceded in death by his parents, Benito and Albenita Silva and brother, Abenicio Silva. Mr. Silva was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to recited at 7:00 p.m., by Deacon Pablo Le Febre. Final visitation will be Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at the Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. with Father Nick Nichols, presider. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mario Silva, April Lopez, Randy Silva, Glen Smith, Tony Silva, and Abe Silva. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Silva.
