Obituary for STOUT

Edward D. Stout, 85, died February 11, 2010. He is survived by his daughter Linda L Haney and husband Frank; grandchildren Michelle Green and husband Russell, Steve Haney and Kevin Haney. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Brandyn Myers, Logan, Kaden, Hailey, and Ryan Haney; sisters, De Lora Moore and Ruth Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Mr. Stout was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Peachie Stout, his wife of 58 years, Margaret, his sisters, Julie Bruce, Joyce Glaze, Ora Marie Truett and brothers, Dewey, Kenneth and Herman Stout. Pawpaw as he was affectionately known by his grandchildren worked as a supervisor for Sandia National Labs for 40 years before retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Mountainside Church of Christ. Mr. Stout helped found and also served as a minister with the Organ Church of Christ. He served in the United States Army Air Corps as a radio operator during WWII and served as a Cub Scout Master when he was at White Sands Missile Range. A service will be held Monday, February 15, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, with burial following at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
