Beda M. Romero, 84, a longtime resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 6, 2010. She was born in Las Vegas NM on May 27, 1925 to Miguel and Josephine Madrid. She, along with her parents, moved to Albuquerque in 1964. After working at UNM for over 20 years she retired in 1987. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers along with several lifelong friends who were like family to her. She is survived by her son, Carlos A. Romero; her niece, Joann Parker, her granddaughters, Carla Romero, Camille Olson and husband George, and Darla Romero and husband Anthony, great-grandsons, Brett and Sean Romero, and various other relatives and friends.
