Connie Lucero Nunez, loving mother, grandmother and sister went home to be with Our Lord on Saturday, February 6, 2010 with her loving family at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Salvador Nunez, on February 10, 1997. She is survived by her son, Lawrence (Sal) Nunez, daughters, Theresa Sullivan (Ed), Christine White (Jim), Gina Franks (David), Monica Sena (Ron). Grandchildren, Jacob (Karla), Jason, Joanna, Sharon and Dominic. Sisters, Virginia Romero, Isabel Torres and Filia Perea. The family would like to thank Dr. Penny Edwards, Will Lucero and Heritage Hospice for their loving care. Rosary will be recited at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas at Tennessee on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 7:00 o'clock p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 10 o'clock a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Burial following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Wyoming at Paseo Del Norte NE. Connie will be remembered for her courage, grace and faith in Our Lord and will be greatly missed.
