Obituary for HARKER

Georgia Beth Williamson Harker was Born January 21, 1940, In Witchita Falls, Texas. Georgia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday night, February 3, 2010, at home with her family and friend's by her side. Georgia was preceded in death by her youngest son, Michael; her parents, Glado and Christine Williamson. Georgia lived in Las Vegas NM, and helped her parents run Williamson's Greenhouse and Flower Shop until, 1981 when she moved to Albuquerque, where she worked for different florists, until retiring. After she retired she started painting, and created many works of art, she also became a member and officer in the ART LEAGUE of NM. Georgia was also an active member of the Church of Latter Day Saints, where she made many friends, who became her extended family. Georgia leaves behind her three children, John Box, Cherie Buxton, and Robert Williamson; six grandchildren, Logan and Chance Buxton, Justin and Jessica Williamson, Ashley and John Box Jr.; two granddaughers-in-law, Amanda Williamson and Alicia Buxton; seven great-grandchildren, Ariana and Matalene Williamson, Isaiah Williamson, Kaitlynn, Layne and Shyann Buxton, and the newest, Adaya Box. She also had many other family members in Texas, Louisiana, and friends everywhere. We, Georgia's children, would like to thank all of mom's LDS family for their support, and loving help that they provided to mom during her long battle with cancer. All of your help and thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated, more than words can express. Thank you to all of you. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be held Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the LDS Church located at 5709 Haines Ave. in Albuquerque, New Mexico at 6:00 p.m. where Bishop Jeffery Crosadell will be residing.
