Eugene R. Leyva, 77, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 3, 2010. Mr. Leyva is survived by the mother of his children, Eve Paiz; his children, Richard Leyva and wife, Sandra, Janice Howieson and Rick, Judy Leyva and Valerie, Everett Leyva and fiance, Monica Martinez and Gina Ortega and fiance, Jason Scull; seven grandchildren, Chrystal, Blake, Brandon, Alex, Danielle, Derek, and Natalie. Mr. Leyva is a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean War. He was a long time resident of the Martinez Town community and enjoyed art and the outdoors. Mr. Leyva is now reunited with his parents, Reno and Charlotte Leyva. A Tribute Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 5, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with full military honors.
