Stephen L. Roe 63, passed on peacefully at his home on Friday January 29, 2010. Steve is survived by his wife Rose; and four children he loved and considered as his own. Carlos, Rodney and wife Devyn, Yvonne, and Yvette and husband Jonathan. Next to being a wonderful husband, Steve's greatest joy was being a grandfather to nine grandchildren. Andrew B., Mykayla L., Rose B., Dominic B., Diandra B., Kimberly E, Timothy L., Lennox B., Gabrail B. Also survived by his brothers, Russel Roe and wife Elisa, Jerry Roe; and sister Susie Moore; nephew John Roe; and niece Jennifer; mother-in-law Dora; two brother-in-laws, Joe and Jerry; three sister-in-laws, Antonita Jackson, Priscilla Martinez, Bernadette Zamora and husband George. Steve was deeply loved by Family and friends, Co-workers at Wal-Mart. Steve always had a big "Howdy" for everyone. He enjoyed and had a green thumb with his garden and fruit trees. Steve is and will always be deeply missed by all. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Riverside Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held the following day at 10:00 a.m. followed by the burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
