Darrell R. Calsbeek, 77, passed away peaceably early Friday morning, January 29, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. Darrell was born and grew up in Rock Valley, IA, served in the US Air Force, and married Donna Lou Serck of Inwood, IA. He graduated from Morningside College and went to work for Klinger Construction Company until his retirement in 2000 at Albuquerque. He is survived by son Gregory of Dallas, TX; daughters Pamela of Denver, CO, and Rebecca of Spring Valley, WI; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; brother Gerard of Los Angeles, CA; sister Phyllis of Sauk Centre, MN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by this parents Peter and Fannie Calsbeek and five sisters. Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, the West Metro Chapel at 901 S. Sheridan Blvd. in Lakewood, CO at a date to be announced with burial in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver CO.
