Manuel D. Gonzales, 86, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 24, 2010. A longtime resident of Albuquerque, Manuel was born May 12, 1923 in San Rafael, NM to Ramon and Jesusita Gonzales. Manuel was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Rose L. Gonzales. He is survived by his children, Sandra Barrera and husband, Jim of Corpus Christi, TX, Manuel A. Gonzales of Albuquerque, John A. Gonzales and wife Becky of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Chris Bradley and Sean Bradley; and two great-grandchildren; Connor and Mason Bradley; sister-in-law, Lola Chavez and husband Adolfo; and niece, Pilar Saracino. Manuel loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by numerous friends and relatives. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2010 with reciting of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, January 28, 2010 with all services at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
