Augusta Faye Bunten, age 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2010. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, James Bunten, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Caldwell Lopez and husband, Richard; son, James A. Bunten Jr. and wife Helen; and son, Edward L. Bunten; also by her granddaughter, Victoria Lopez; and three grandsons, Robert, David and Steven Lopez; two great-granddaughters; and her beloved dog, Lady. Augusta was born in Corbin, Kentucky in 1922 and lived in Miami, Florida where she graduated from Miami High School. She returned to Albuquerque where she worked for several Chevrolet dealerships and was a homemaker. She had a zest for life, quick wit, and a great sense of humor. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Services are entrusted to French Funeral and Cremation Services.
