Obituary for FULLER

Ralph L.Fuller, 88 yrs old passed away January 13, 2010 after a lengthy battle with Parkinsons. Ralph was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 4, 1921 to Alva L. and Ruth Elizabeth Fuller. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy of 68 years; and step-mom, Emma of Colorado Springs. Ralph and Dorothy were married on February 15, 1941. They moved to NM where Ralph worked for Mountain Bell/U S West. During WW II Ralph was in the Navy on the USS Pensacola where he saw plenty of combat as a Fire Control-man Third Class. Ralph received an honorable discharge in October of 1945. Ralph and Dorothy lived all around NM. He and his line crew built the original telephone lines. Upon his retirement they traveled the United States and Canada. After 15 years or so they settled in Elephant Butte and spent time with their family and friends riding jet skis, boating, fishing and sharing tall tales. Ralph and Dorothy have two daughters, Sherry Pearce (married to Dan Pearce) and Jan Turnbull (married to George Turnbull); five grandchildren, Dan and wife Amy Pearce, Diane and husband Paul Edlinger, Cathlene and husband Ken Keeney, Kamie Turnbull and husband Ed Torres and Brent Turnbull and wife Michele; three great-grandchildren, Tyler and Katelyn Turnbull-Torres and Aiden Turnbull. Ralph will be sorely missed, but we are glad he is resting now in Heaven. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe and at the VFW in Elephant Butte. Dates will be published as soon as they are available.
