Antonio "Tony" Ambrosio, a life long resident of Albuquerque passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Sally Cardinell y Zamora; three sons, Tony Zamora and wife, Elizabeth, Michael Zamora and wife, Lora, and Thomas Zamora; four grandsons, one granddaughter, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patty Lee; parents, Nick and Tomasita Zamora; brothers; Freddy, Cosme; sisters, Margaret, Dorothy and Elma. Tony was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from the City of Albuquerque (Vehicle Maintence) after 25 years of service. A rosary will be recited on Monday, January 18, 2010, 7:00 p.m. at French, University Chapel. Friends and family may visit one hour prior. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, pending time and location. Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
