Clifford N., CWO-4 (retired US Army), 93, an Officer and a Gentleman, died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, January 10, 2010. Born in Manhattan - New York, he has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1945. He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Micker of Albuquerque, Deborah Conrad of Pikesville, MD, Mary Elizabeth Flagg (husband Russell) of Plainfield, IL; and grandson Christopher McCallum of Alexandria, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, his loving wife of 56 years, Mary and grandson, Clifford J. Conrad. Mr. Micker was a veteran of the United States Army, serving 30 years. After retiring from the Army, he attended, graduated and was employed by and retired from Albuquerque TVI. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 14, 2010, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests friends make memorial contributions to the charity of their choice.
