David Gregory Martinez, beloved husband, father, brother, son and friend, born May 13, 1950 passed away January 10, 2010. He was preceded in death by his mother, Christina Lucero. David is survived by his wife, Michelle Martinez; father, Adolf Lucero; sister and brother-in-law, Cecilia and Alex Fajardo; sister-in-law, Alice Delick; daughters, Davida Detar and husband, Paul Detar, Sheila Martinez and husband, Michael Reiswig Martinez, Rosemary Colon, Krista Martinez; nephews, Michael Iran Montoya and wife, Domani Montoya, Chris Romero and wife, Charity Romero, Johnny Romero and wife, Diana Romero. David was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and while he lived in Idaho and California his heart always lie in New Mexico. He was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and got to see them win six Super Bowls. He made countless friends and touched many lives along the way, always making everyone laugh with his great stories. His big heart was full of love for all his family, friends and life. He will be greatly missed. A Rosary for David will be recited on Wednesday evening, January 13, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 5800 Ouray NW. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. also at Sts. Peter and Paul Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
