Consuelo (Connie) G. Leyva, 88, went to Our Lord on Thursday, January 7, 2010. Mrs. Leyva is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Burke; her sons, Pete Leyva and wife, Mary Lou (LuLu), and Larry Leyva and wife, Gini; her sisters, Jesusita Ramkowsky and husband, Ed, Isabel Valenzuela and husband, David, and Victoria Rubio and husband, Willie; her brothers, Lorenzo Gallego and wife, Maria Luisa, Celso Gallego Jr., and Ray Gallego; grandchildren, Mike Leyva and wife, Carolyn, Linda Christakis, Mark Leyva, Tim Leyva and wife, Margaret Ann, Lisa McCormick and husband, Mike, Kimberly Leyva, Melissa and Andrew Muriel, Christopher Leyva and wife, Rachael, and Jason Leyva; her great-grandchildren, Stephanie Romero, Josh Todd and wife, April, Amber Todd, Nik Lewis, Britney Kesler, Lydia Gonzales, Andreana Muriel, Marcus Martinez, Joseph Leyva, Martha Leyva, Alyana Muriel, Andrew Muriel, Matthew McCormick; her great-great grandchildren, Anjelia Romero, Alexia Romero, Kylie Todd, and Peyton Todd; and many nieces, and nephews. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at the Aquinas Newman Center on the Campus of U.N.M. (Las Lomas and University NE). Mass will be Monday at the Aquinas Newman Center at 10:00 a.m. Committal Service for burial of cremains will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
