Marvin E. Barnett, 80, of Belton formerly of Albuquerque, N.M. died Friday January 8, 2010 at his residence in Belton Texas Memorial Services Will Be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at Dossman Funeral Home of Belton Texas. Mr. Barnett was born August 5, 1929 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to Fred Barnett and Ethyl Lee Barnett he married Opal A. Wyant July 3, 1954 in New Kirk, Oklahoma. He worked as a Electrical Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories for 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Opal Barnett of Belton Texas; son, Michael Barnett of Belton Texas; brothers, James Barnett of Fairfax, OK; sister, Betty Argo of Bartlesville, OK; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
