CARL TSOSIE, Passed away January 5, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Hosteen Nez Tsosie; mother, Ahinbah Gorman Nez Tsosie; brothers: Thomas Tsosie, Joe Tsosie (Mary Mitchell), Robert Nez, John Nez and Kee Pah Hee; sisters: Lillian Nez and Lita Burbank. He was born in Salina Springs, AZ on September 10, 1917 and was married to Lydia D. Tsosie February 8, 1946 at St. Anne's Church in Santa Fe, NM. He received a Purple Heart. He is survived by his son, Carl Anthony Tsosie Jr.; daughters: Mary Constance Tsosie Gaussoin AKA Connie Tsosie-Gaussoin (Jerry), Judy Ann Tsosie Dasheno (Walter); sons: Patrick Morris Tsosie, Clifford Roger Tsosie (Tina), Robert Dale Tsosie (Aurora Duran Tsosie), Desbah Tsosie (fiance Charles); sisters, Stella Mitchell, and Zonnie Tsosie; grandchildren: Ramos Tsosie, Maj. Jerry Gaussoin Jr., David Gaussoin, Wayne Nez Gaussoin, Tazbah Gaussoin, Walter Jude, Rosita Dasheno, Alexandria Dasheno, Tricia Dasheno, Reyes Tsosie, Adelena Tsosie, Ivanna Tsosie; great-grandchildren: Emma Tsosie, Sheldon Ashkii Gaussoin, Nanibaa Gaussoin, Tyler Natanii Gaussoin, Kehasbah Gaussoin, Isaiah Dasheno, Elizabeth Dasheno, Gabriel Dasheno, Rebecca Vigil, Thamu Jonathan Vigil, Hannah Martinez; and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. A Mass will be celebrated at Santa Maria de la Paz today, Friday, January 8, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
