Baby Thomas William Chavez Jr., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 4, 2010. His smile was from Heaven. Baby Thomas warmed everyone's heart and brought people together. He captured our hearts, never to be released again. Baby Thomas was an angel sent from God, and is now again with God. He is survived by his parents, Thomas Chavez and Melissa Pickle; grandparents, William and Carla Pickle, and Tommy and Priscilla Chavez; great-grandparents, Michael and Lorraine Garcia and Jeanette Martinez and Henry Lopez; auntie Candice Pickle and Bennie Sandoval; great-aunties, Andrea Lopez, Sabrina Redman, and Jamie De La O; great-uncles, John Redman, and Mickey Garcia; cousins, Wesstyn Pickle, Jenna and Cole Redman, and Aidin De La O; and many more loved ones. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 9, at 10:30 a.m. at French Westside Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be uncle Julian Chavez, great uncle Angelo Lopez and cousins Tommy Gonzales and Kene Garcia.
