Obituary for MOZLEY

Harriet V. Mozley went to Heaven on January 3rd, 2010. She was born in Evansville, Illinois on January 24, 1931, the youngest of seven children to Otto and Helen Veath. She married Norman A. Mozley, III August 1, 1948, who passed away in 1992. She is survived by her daughter Wesley Rita Mozley; son Norman Mozley IV and wife Della; grandchildren Brian Mozley and wife Julia, Renee Mozley, David Mozley, Rachelle Mozley, sister Elaine Zintel and husband Rich, and brother Byron Veath and wife Cissie, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A housewife and mother whose joy was in taking care of her family, she turned her enjoyment of cake decorating into a thriving business. After both her children were out of high school, she founded The Specialty Shop where she could bake and decorate cakes, teach others how to decorate, and provide supplies for home decorators. After selling the shop in 1984 she continued in the wholesale end of the business, providing bakery, decorating and packaging supplies to businesses throughout the southwestern United States. She was an active participant in the business working full time until 2008. A memorial service will be held at Christ the Ray of Hope Lutheran Church, 7001 San Antonio NE, 87109 on Wednesday, January 6, at 11:00 AM.
